What I Do When I Experience Self Doubt

Here's what I do when I experience self doubt:

1. I don't make myself wrong for feeling this way

Okay - sometimes I do, but this is the place I eventually come back to!

Whatever you deny or suppress within yourself, only strengthens.

Welcome, acknowledge the self doubt and see it as a frightened part of you that's trying to protect itself.

It needs love and compassion. Judgement keeps us locked in self doubt and negative thinking - self compassion releases it.

“I don't need to fear my thoughts, instead I welcome them with love and compassion.”

2.  I choose the next best thought

See it like a ladder. Don't shoot for the top step (the full belief you want to align with), go for the next one that feels more believable in the moment.

“I'm willing to believe this is possible for me."

…then work your way up to something more like…“I believe this is possible, it's happening, doors are opening for me.”

3.  I look for evidence

Actively search for concrete evidence as to why you're good enough, and what in your past demonstrates that what you desire is possible for you.

…I recommend actually writing this down - it makes a huge difference!
