Confidence Versus Self Worth

I see confidence and self worth as being two very different things.

Many of the women I work with would consider themselves confident and many people
would also view them this way.

Yet once we dive into our work together, we can draw a connection between the challenges they are experiencing & inner wounds around self worth.

Self worth stuff is universal.

We all have wounds to heal here, regardless of how confident we might appear.

For me, this is the difference:

Confidence = do I feel like I can go and do the thing? (often the answer is yes)

Self worth = how do I *feel* about myself as I go and do the thing?

Being able to step forward into what we want is one thing BUT how we feel about ourselves as we do that is another thing entirely.

Stress is an accessible (and familiar) emotion many of us can relate to at work.

Much of the stress we experience is wrapped up in our overthinking, our second guessing of ourselves and doubting our value and what we’re offering (self worth).

Deepening into our self worth is what allows us to experience a lot less of this.

▪️It means we trust ourselves and what we have to offer.

▪️We let work be what it is - something we do, not who we are.

▪️We can show up at work and then leave the rest at the door when we come home at night.

▪️Deepening into our self worth, makes it all feel easier.

I go into this in more detail on Episode 20, where I interview my client, Ashlee Rose. Listen here.
